I’m sure discussed but couldn’t find. Anyway say both team clean up their schedule with wins.
LSU has Arkansas, A&M, Georgia
Ohio State has Penn State, Michigan, and winner of the Minnesota/ Wisconsin game

I think they do unfortunately because all those teams are quality ranked teams.
Long way to go

Depends how we both look in those games. If we roll our next three opponents, no way in hell they jump us.

I could possibly see OSU taking the top spot temporarily, but even if they did, if we run the table and beat Number 4 Georgia, I believe we'd get it back.

Don’t care.

Get in the Playoff and beat the brakes off whomever you play.

We won’t be unanimously number one until we beat the Patriots.

I think we beat Georgia but we won’t be blowing them out that’s for sure.

It absolutely matters. I'd much rather play the 4 seed in Atl than play Clemson in Phoenix.

You would rather. I’m sure the team doesn’t care who they face.

That number 4 could be Bama. Do not want that matchup again don’t care if Uncle Rico is at the helm.

That's stupid. Give us the more favorable matchup all day.

As it looks right now, I think LSU loses to OSU or Clemson in the playoffs. The defense is just not championship calibre. Way too porous. Teams that can pass torch it through the air, those that can run run by it.

I think Bamas offense (With Tua) is better than both so I don’t agree.

There’s no guarantee that being seeded #1 gives that team the best real world matchup.

Sometimes being #2 would give the better matchup.

Absolutes are not always correct.

You can't say no way tho...the committee and the media at large really like OSU. OSU has the best team/LSU has the best resume narrative.

OSU is rediculously good this year. Their defense is nails. We are ahead because they haven’t played anyone, but starting this week their schedule is back loaded. They could absolutely pass us or maybe they get upset.
