He should spend all spring and summer working with his new receivers. Need to have Nuss completely in synch with the guys he's throwing to.

Joe Burrow did it. Jayden Daniels did it If I recall, Myles Brennan spent most of his summer fishing. Nuss is going to have a lot of new guys that we will be depending on.

For the 100th time, he needs to run when given an open field.

Everyone says this but never say's anything about the backups and what the season would look like if he went down.

10 Rickie Collins 6-2, 205, RsFr.
15 AJ Swann, 6-2, 212, Jr.
16 Colin Hurley, 6-1, 213, FR

I would assume things will be different with Michael Van Buren Jr. on the roster.

LSU needs a much-improved Defense, O-line & Run game/scheme.

Nuss is not the issue.

he just needs to stop with the careless turnovers that cost LSU the game against aggies and florida

yeah, had nothing to do with our LG going out near half-time and A&M dominating the middle of the OL like a jail break.....and don't even get started on Florida where we were missing both Guards and a Center that was lost.....and they had about half of the sacks that we took all year in that one game....but yeah, let's blame it only on Nuss.

You continuously are one of the dumbest posters on this site, and the sad part is that you aren't young...so you are what you are.

Yep. Burrow didn’t run a bunch in 2018 because Brennan was hurt most of the year. They didn’t have a backup to go to if he went down.

2018 Burrow 399 yds rushing 7 TDs
2019 368 yds 5 TDs

Improved, yes. How much, time will tell. A lot depends on how the new O line develops. Also IMO he needs to use his feet just a little. 4-5 runs to pick a 1st and keep a drive going will be a big help also.

Daniels is the CFB all time single season leader in passing efficiency at 208.0. Better than Burrow in 2019. Yes, he had better playmakers than Nuss, but he was also that good in 2023. Go back and watch his '23 highlights. He made a lot of beautiful throws over over the course of the season.

The first three games of 2023 that got to the point that Kelly threatened him to one up and throw into coverage. You can be conservative with those 2. He held the ball and took ZERO risks which is why his sacks were high in 2022 and or ran for his life. He never wanted to throw the ball into coverage. It wasn’t until Mississippi State that there was a change. This is well documented in the use of VR….
There was a 100% correlation.
