Could’ve just streamed this tournament “illegally” if people would’ve kept their mouths shut and no one would’ve had to deal with this no pussy gettin arse packer.

You act like they couldnt possibly know what problems could arise and correct them before. Instead they block all avenues of watching and then fuq it up.

Everything is over the over the top here. He's not Pol Pot or Kathleen Kennedy but some criticism seems to be warranted.

When did Pol Pot ever lie and steal from LSU baws? LSU baseball wasn’t even good when Pol Pot was running Cambodia.

This tournament existed for several years before D1 got involved.

I’m using D1 Sports liberally as a term for a 3rd party streaming service. These tournaments wouldn’t exist without a 3rd party (D1, Flosports, Astros, etc) agreeing to broadcast them. They would instead be regular 3 game series broadcast by ESPN.

This year with LSU discount was $26. I think most of y’all are just tech illiterate. I’ve had no issues all weekend.

After they realized the original discount they gave of $3 wasn’t enough lol. They raised the price then gave you a discount that still came out higher than they previously charged, but you saw the word discount and thought they were doing you a favor.

If you’re worried about spending $26 dollars you should listen on the radio. I would’ve been just fine paying the $36. Like I said, I’ve had no issues with the stream.

Im not worried about $26. I paid this year and I’ll pay again next year because I love watching LSU baseball. I have a whole list of things that I have problems with when looking at how D1 and Kendall have gone of this over that past 2 years.

Last year was a shite show. Next year they need to get more cameras and better angles.

Better than nothing. But you might be the only person in the world who doesn't mind NOT getting what you paid for.

Kindly show yourself the way out.

But he is! It doesn't matter whether he's trying to or not.

LSU didn’t play in a D1 tournament last year. It was 2 years ago. And this year they had all the same problems that they did then. Broadcast, video, and audio problems. They had two full years to prepare for another LSU game and still fricked it up.

This isn't 10 years ago where he is providing a service that wouldn't have been available otherwise. Espn has made it where every baseball game is able to be streamed and these types of games would be no dofferent if D1 didnt have this contract.

He essentially kidnapped these teams and ransomed the ability to watch them live to the fans. This would be somewhat excusable as a business move had the streams been at least up to quality of espn+ streams with a decent roku app but they weren't

So frick Kendall and Frick D1. Ended up just listening to the radio call last night because I was having trouble with the cast function of my outdoor tv.

Not really. I’ve been hating on D1 and Kendall the entire weekend, but LSU isn’t blameless on this. LSU keeps agreeing to these tournaments knowing that they will be on these broadcasts. D1 isn’t forcing LSU to play in these.

ESPN has made it where every game played at the home facility of a conference they have a contract with is available.

D1 didnt steal this from under espn. The filled a gap in the market.

Isn’t D1 the tournament host? I’m sure they would sell the tv rights to ESPN if there was money to be made.

I’m not a poor and didn’t buy the broadcast based on prior year tRant comments. Also, when I tuned in to Eagle98.1 or LSUSports.net to listen, I enjoyed the hell out of the games. But, I’m 72 and, as a young River Parish sports fan, we often had only the radio to catch baseball and football games. Listening to the game with descriptions of the action is great when the broadcasts do a fine job of describing what they see. Still, good memories regardless of the lack of video for me.

I’m with you old man (in 73). I did some paper work at the kitchen table and listened to the game starting about the fourth inning.

Baseball was born for radio!!!
