I don't think he gives a damn because he knows he got the buyout insurance coverage so he would continue the same offense next year, hoping his RBs would break the wall once in a while. We'll see changes when he retires in 2019 or hopefully sooner.

after a game in which was quite probably his last as far as he knew, HE SAID THE ENGINE IS FINE.
Not what he said.
He said the engine on the offense was fine(that's Fournette) but other parts need work.
He is right.

I don't understand how people are getting this wrong.
Here's the video of that question being asked: LINK
Miles was asked about a 'serious overhaul' to the offense, and he balked. He said they would consider change; he noted that a 'serious overhaul' might be appropriate, but 'a little much.'
He's asked about staff changes and he replies, "When you have change, there is staff change." He refers to staff change as a 'natural contemplation.'

We saw the results with METT in year 2.
Year 3. It took Mett, an NFL talent, til his THIRD year for the offense to work. We got one good year out of an NFL talent on campus for three. That's our college offense, ladies and gentlemen. That's how we do it.

Indeed. It's quite sobering and actually depressing.
It would be unrealistic hopeful wishing to expect the LSU offense to explode next season against the better teams of the SEC West. What Harris is injured next season? Who is the back up QB? Nobody that could be expected to be explosive.

The Lesticles era ended in '08, when Miles realized that running a wide-open offense could cost him games, thereby costing him his job.
I think the Traffic Jam Offense era ends in '16, when Miles realized that running a 1980's Big Ten offense could cost him his job.

Not a chance. He hasn't put his ego aside and done what's best for the team in the last five year, so now that he knows that he is un-fireable its pretty much impossible that he evolve with the college game. We fuct
How is he un-fireable? They can fire his arse any time next year. Plus the buyout money will be lower after this year.
Hope to God Texas sucks and pay Tom Herman 4 mill to come here.

He probably is doing that, but there is a good chance the UT and TAMU jobs will come open following 2016 season. I think staying in TX is his preference.
I'm wishing on a star that Charlie wins 8 or more games next year.

Are you insinuating that you don't like our electric football traffic jam offense?
Did anyone EVER play a complete game of Tudor electric football using the timer on the field that spun with the board vibrations?
Heck, even if you didn't get bored first, the players would keep running into it and fricking it up.

I am so fricking tired of Miles-ese.
It was funny and intriguing when we were contending for SEC/National championships.
Now, I'm burned out on it.
But thanks to the media and the pumpers who have now made a coach on the downside of his career into a cult figure who is bigger than the program.
The most ignorant sign out there (other than the idiot student with "STTD Alleva) was "Les IS LSU."
bullshite.
Les is a football coach. Nothing more. Nothing ... less.

So therefore Les does what's best for Les and not the team.

"the offense is a disaster. we only averaged 16 ppg in our last 4 games against above average defenses. we're going to clean house."

Not his ego, he is retarted and insane.

He loses three games in a row again next year and he's gone. He's not unfireable, that's not even a word.

What did Stopps do last year?
Posted on 12/2/15 at 10:10 pm to TigerNSac
It has been, and I feel like it will continue being his EGO
Unless the AD said Changes MUST happen ... Les is Stubborn!!

Oh yeah, it's his ego. He prefers losing to winning bcause it's good for his ego. What a stupid frick you are.
Hey Penrod, did you listen to the press conference when Moscona asked him about losing 5 in a row to Bama and if his philosophy on offense might need a change? Then he stated that 2 of the 5 were close, so no need to change. Is that contradictory to your belief? Or is Miles just stupid? Or, are you a stupid frick as you stated before?

Stoops hired one of the nation's best young Offensive Coordinators, Lincoln Kennedy, formerly of East Carolina. He will be a head coach within 2 or 3 years.
It something that we wished that Les Miles would have done for LSU, but we know the deal. Here is a very sad notion that is a living reality, Les walked around on the sidelines against TAMU with offensive plays in his hand.
WE ARE DOOM!
