Now that I can agree with. I think it’s all bs but I don’t trust the SEC office at all and I think they are stupid enough to suspend him, it is my fear based on what I’m hearing. I hope I’m wrong.

Lmao oh ok well the SEC sure thinks they can
Thinking they can and actually doing it can be miles apart. They are saving face publicly right now. I’m sure some backroom discussions happened and it will all settle down this weekend. Nothing productive ever happens on a Friday during football season.
There are two marquee college matchups, opening weekend of NFL, and this will be old news come Monday.

You don’t have to hope. You are wrong. Sounds like you need to take a break from the internet.

Sec will want this hanging over Kiffin head as long as possible to try to control him.

I’ve explained it 1,000 times. Go look up the amended lawsuit filed this past Monday by the SEC’s attorneys.
The items listed within that amended lawsuit is what they are discussing punishment for Kiffin and LSU.
Several LSU sports media guys have posted the entire document . Here’s one link that has the entire amended court docket attached.

I have no doubt they WANT to suspend him, but I think it’s sinking in that there is no basis for it - their emotions got the best of them. LSU remained quiet and let them embarrass themselves, so now…
… they are scrambling to find some sort of rationale to penalize someone, anyone, associated with LSU in order to save face. Thing is you can’t when you’re trying to punish someone who hasn’t broken any rule.
I would guess they are asking LSU to accept some form of punishment in the “best interests of the league” from an optics standpoint. But the league just drug us over the coals, so we’re telling them to go to hell. So they’re stalling to continue to try to get LSU to accept a ding and/or to find a good answer why it’s not able to punish them for the wailing throngs begging, demanding for LSU (Kiffin) to be embarrassed.
I think it’s becoming clear the SEC knows it’s not as powerful as it thought it was. The temperature has dropped, and it’s not a good idea to run it back up. I could be completely wrong, and tomorrow they’ll issue suspensions and fines. Their statement today leads me to believe they haven’t given up. But I think a statement, especially the one they gave, could have been done without. Why call attention to your inaction when most people have already moved on?

I’m aware but they are vindictive as we’ve seen already. They want to make sure they let Kiffin and LSU know who’s boss.

Finally someone with a brain who gets it… I hope you’re right. I have no faith in the SEC though so nothing will shock me at this point.

Bingo!!! I absolutely agree. All I’m saying is that it’s a possibility because they want to punish him so badly and because the SEC thinks its untouchable, I could absolutely see them being foolish enough to hand down punishment.

Lol I’m good. I’ve hardly been on the internet but thanks for your concern weirdo. Take your own advice.

Well at least you’re smart enough to see that. Others in here, not so much. Lol
