Those 3 players were only together for one year. Jackson was only at LSU for two years (one with Shaq and Roberts); Shaq played three years; and Roberts was Prop 48 then left after a year or two, if I recall correctly. I agree that it was an incredibly talented team, but the Georgia Tech team that beat them in the tournament had their own “Lethal Weapon 3” - Kenny Anderson, Dennis Scott, and Brian Oliver.
That LSU team was very entertaining. They beat the eventual champion, UNLV, in the regular season.
Those 3 players were only together for one year. Interesting that you view a direct invitation to join him in his office as “forcing him not to work.” Wade’s baggage should be Wade’s problem. Wade’s baggage meant Wade chose not to come to work for two weeks last year, making it LSU’s problem. That’s very bad. I assume that’s all in the past and we’re in for a big run.
But I’m not gonna whitewash the past of a man who has never cut down a net as LSU coach.

Stop lying about what happened. It’s all public record and we know the meeting was altered last minute with Alleva trying to walk him into a trap by bringing in the NCAA while Wade wasn’t able to have representation present. As far as “his baggage” a hit piece with false information and zero facts written by other programs mouth pieces doesn’t constitute baggage. Wade committed zero violations period. You morons who keep parroting other programs propaganda are embarrassing.

Watching this undersized team crash the boards and dominate the rebounding each game has been beautiful to watch. This and free throws have been their Achilles heel for years. Both are strong suits now. Amazing....

I honestly have no clue what he means. But dont have to. I know theres more to it than my understanding. As long as he gets it, I'm good. This guy is an incredible coach. I'm glad we have him.
