Those 3 players were only together for one year. Jackson was only at LSU for two years (one with Shaq and Roberts); Shaq played three years; and Roberts was Prop 48 then left after a year or two, if I recall correctly. I agree that it was an incredibly talented team, but the Georgia Tech team that beat them in the tournament had their own “Lethal Weapon 3” - Kenny Anderson, Dennis Scott, and Brian Oliver.
That LSU team was very entertaining. They beat the eventual champion, UNLV, in the regular season.
