I do. You have a QB making his first start as a Tiger. Run whats working and let your QB and the rest of the offense build some confidence and chemistry.

the only way he's getting another year is if the plan all along was to wait for frank wilson to get a couple of years of head coaching experience on his resume before we brought him back as head coach.

No. As weak as the SEC is this year I'd want him gone if he loses 3 games. No excuse with this team with what we had coming back to lose 3 games. 2 losses maybe. 1 definitely comes back.

Uh no.

Les absolutely had to get Etling more reps and more practice as he's the future from here on out and it was the perfect opportunity to do so.

Saban let his freshman QB throw the frick out of the ball today against Western Kentucky to get more reps and practice. Is he a shitty coach for that decision?

If we get to 4 losses? Do u really see us scoring enough points against SEC defenses to win 9 games?

Me personally? No. I was just answering a question. I think we lose at least 5.

Alabama
Ole Miss
Arkansas
And take your pick of Auburn, A&M, and Florida which are all away games. We could lose all three with this sh*tshow.

I could see us easily scoring enough to win 9-10 games. A healthy Fournette is a big upgrade at running back, even over Guice. If Etling gives us even the threat of a basic passing game, then Fournette will be a beast.

We need to solidify the WR lineup. Dural is solid, we need someone else to step up. I think Dupre's time has come and gone.

I'm a realist. Look at what's happening in America. You have BLM, Kaepernick, Kevin Durant, Rapinoe, etc. There's no reason LSU football won't ride the prevailing racial current in this country.

Etling just managed to complete zero passes in an entire half vs. Jacksonville State. What makes you think he's capable of saving anyone's job?

The stadium and players reacted incredibly after the td. After the hopelessness of last week, you can see the change in the attitude of everyone there. There was an honest feeling that the QB change could affect the expectations of the season.

That being said, that feeling kinda went away by the end. The 2nd half was a chance to put some of the concerns away and it just didnt. The truth is we have tremendous deficiencies. Starting with the o line. If they do not gel ASAP we will lose 4 games and there will be no further reprieve for Miles. Not with the favorable schedule and returning talent.

I'm not gonna say he looks like an NFL starter, and I do wonder if he came in hot and came back to earth as play went on.
But someone else noted that the plays changed in the second half. I think first half (second quarter), we called plays we know he could run, and it allowed us to gain control of the game. 2nd half, it seemed like a mix of runs to move clock, and more difficult pass routes to see how he'd do. Hate to say, he didn't set the world on fire.

Good thing is, with a healthy Fournette, then a composed QB capable of running a short passing game might be all we need to stick in almost every game we have left.
