when was the last time a player on an 8-4 team won the heisman?
the only way he's getting another year is if the plan all along was to wait for frank wilson to get a couple of years of head coaching experience on his resume before we brought him back as head coach.

i'd rather have luke fickell or greg roman than a lot of names on that list

Meh. I was expecting much more aggressiveness and pressure.
I'm not that worried about the D though.

the defense essentially gave up nine points (the white pick 6 cancelling out the touchdown they gave up), and you thought the defense looked average?... are you a miles supporter?

But I think, really more than anything else the biggest positive is that now the national media can frick off about trying to tell the Tiger faithful that we were crazy for considering getting rid of Miles last year.

the national media isn't the problem in relation to getting rid of miles, tiger fans that support miles are the problem... but those people are drying up... in a few years, finding a miles supporter will be like trying to find someone who voted for buddy roemer after he lost reelection in 1991... in other words,... a lot of you guys are hypocrites, even if you don't want to admit to it.

how many times do we have to go through this before you guys see miles' offense as the problem and not the quarterback?

les didn't hire jimbo
i think she failed a grade, and it was 16 and 14

got a bj from an underaged girl

i graduated from redemptorist and the story i heard from people that i knew from my days there that were still at redemptorist when hill was being accused of rape went a little something like this...

hill and this girl briefly dated the year before, hill ended things with her because she was too obsessive over him, although he still fooled around with her after the breakup... during hill's senior year, she became really determined to be hill's girlfriend again and started hanging around hill all the time... hill got annoyed with her one day and told her that she needed give him and his friend a bj or get lost... the girl did it and was a walking punchline at school a couple of days later... the girl turned into a basket case and her parent's pressed charges when they found out why she was a basket case.

i know hill's high school coach, he was an assistant at redemptorist when i played there... he assured me of two things... one, hill is no angel... and two, he didn't 'force' that girl to do a damn thing.

nothing will change... we'll be lucky to go 10-2... and miles supporters will still be blaming the quarterbacks instead of miles... it is truly a wonderful time to be an LSU fan

Surprise..... Another miserable douche.

surprise.... another moron who would rather chant 'next year' instead of recognizing miles as the problem... seriously dude, miles isn't your friend... get over it and help LSU move on and progress.

You do realize our defense gave up 435 yards/game in our losses this season, right?

you tend to give up a lot of yards when your offense can't stay on the field for much more than four or five plays every series.

Eta the offense isn't even remotely close to identical over 11 years. It's just not.

you're right, we've added the toss dive play... which is FAN MOTHERfrickING TASTIC btw.

and some of you are so fricking stupid that you can't spot that LSU's offense has been almost identical for 8 of miles' 11 years.

You do realize our 2015 offense was one of the best we've ever had at LSU, right?

And 2013 was the best.

ETA: Penalty yardage really hurt LSU this year. That's something they need to do better.

you do realize that the offense was the problem in the losses, right?... k,... good talk.

Some of you are just miserable fricking people

nothing will change... we'll be lucky to go 10-2... and miles supporters will still be blaming the quarterbacks instead of miles... it is truly a wonderful time to be an LSU fan.
the problem isn't the QB's, the problem is the predictability of miles' offense... LSU could have a clone of 27 year old joe montana and would still experience similar problems... if you think otherwise then you're a pinhead who has a child like fascination with miles.

GEAUX .....

doesn't matter what your comeback is, because they can just come back over the top of you and remind you that you've lost to them five times in a row and will likely lose a sixth time next year.

I dispute that that describes LSU.

i dispute that LSU is anything but that

15 guys on the basketball team; 115 on the football team. Plus football is a sport in which aggression is at the very center.

i agree that the total numbers favor the basketball team getting into less trouble.... also, there's two kinds of people that go to the tigerland bars; people with questionable character and people with questionable intelligence.
thinking the next quarterback will be the guy that works out and leads LSU to a championship is the number one sign that you're a miles supporter.

While he has not set foot on campus, recruited his first player, or coached or won his first LSU game, the lightning strike of getting him on board, paying top dollar, removing the 'Les Clause', all points to Les and Alleva picking him off as a young potential rock star that could be given the keys the Tiger Football Car in a few years if his defenses perform. Of course, it is "waaaaay" too early for any of this, but this hire sure does have a different feel to it.

i couldn't help but think the same thing
