4th quarter 2 minutes left we are up by four. Should we expect phantom PIs, offsetting PFs, Non holding on their OL? What is over/under on controverial calls? 2, 3??? Whatcha think?

Not this year.

I think there has been too much light shown over the past 2 weeks on Bama favoritism from the refs and SEC office that this may be a game where it gets called correctly since a national microscope will be on the game.

I think they'll try to make a point tomorrow to put us in line.

They will make sure that Bama is flagged more IMO but the timing of flags and no calls on bama OL will be interesting to watch this time.

Either way, the word is finally out and SEC refs will be scrutinized much more going forward. That's really all that we wanted.

You really think that’ll stop them?

So did I but not reversing it kept it in the public eye longer. I guess I'll just take what I can get.

I hope not...like I said in a previous post a couple of days ago about the hypothetical you just posted.....if they do, Tiger Stadium crowd will get beyond Liverpool Hooligan ugly. They better call a clean game this time for their own safety. I would hate to see the nastiness posted all over the nation....it just wouldn't be a good graphic for either LSU OR the entire SEC. I think we can continue to hammer home the point that the SEC office needs to be moved OUT of the state of Alabama without it coming down to nasty images of cheating refs, or fans throwing shite and creating havoc.

I think they will call a clean game, BECAUSE they KNOW all eyes are on those motherfrickers this time. They will no way get away with it this particular game, and they all know it. If they fail to be ethical, then frick them.

Honestly the refs would have to eject our 1st and 2nd string offense, defense, and special teams, just for bama to even have a remote chance, so Noooo...

I genuinely envy y’all your optimism. I’m just too cynical to share it.

I DO expect them to be more careful, however, and to “pick their spots” with extraordinary precision.

NO.

They don’t care that The Whole World Is Watching.

They know that they can get away with it -- that once the clock reads “00:00”, it's too late.

THIS.

It will be a disgrace to the sport, of course.

It will be deplored by sports pundits nationwide, and there will be calls for reform.

For awhile.

Until it’s time to focus on basketball.

I'd love to think that with all the scrutiny lately about SEC officiating, they won't screw us again, but it's happened too many times over the years for me to believe that the officials won't put their thumb on the scale if the game is close in the 4th quarter. I pray I'm wrong.

Yes. We’ll get a phantom call on us, but not until the second half. They want it to seem like Devin White was back and LSU still gave-up the TD.

You have to beat the refs, the replay office, and the other team. We can do it.

I’ve said this in other threads. They (SEC/Alabama) feel very emboldened and I can see them doubling down, especially if the game is close. It’s not like our nutless AD can take it to the NCAA even if he were so inclined, with Saban’s bff running the NCAA.

Today is going to break the record for threads about officiating. Whatever the current record is for threads in 24 hours about the refs, there will be more today. I wish we could keep them all in one thread, but I know that will never happen. I think we should be more focused on our Tigers ending this 7 year streak of misery tonight in Tiger Stadium. When that Cole Tracy FG splits the uprights with no time left on the clock, there's nothing the refs can do besides stick both hands straight up in the air just like the other 100,000 piss drunk cajuns in the building. It's going to be glorious. Go Tigers!

If the game is close in the 4th, there will be a PI call on the Tigers that will extend a Bama drive, you can count on that.

Edited to say, and it will be controversial.
