I know he already did, but don't understand why you think a football coach of any kind should give a statement?

Doesn’t really matter does it? You know exactly what he’s going to say and hoping to message to young guys wanting to come to LSU.

I’d rather not even be involved in trying to think about what he needs to message. I’m just here watching.

Can we have a mass get together from all LSU Coaches, Athletic Personnel, Administrative Personnel, Deans, Presidents, Chancellors, Board of Supervisors, Athletes, Students, and Janitors so they can all "make a statement" about George Floyd and how sorry they are for something they have zero to do with?

Then let's all remember to not discuss or criticize the "protesters" and their stealing, looting, arson, destruction of property, and murder. After all, they are just angry over their mistreatment.

What a joke.

Do we really care about what celebrities have to say regarding an incident? Kinda unfair to expect them to make a public statement on these things.

It's nice to know that Native Cajuns are experts at Seafood and the Oil Field Industry. LOL.

Didn't know I had it in me.

It’s a no win situation. He he wants to talk to his team he should do it in private IMO.

I will discuss them and praise them for exercising their constitutional right to do so. And I agree with them. Black lives do matter.

We’ve got a significant amount of evidence that shows there’s no benefit to speaking publicly about any of this. It truly is a no win. No matter what he says, even if he expresses full support, he’ll still get ripped to shreds. It’s just not worth the risk. Let the university issue all the statements they want.

To play the gotcha game, silly. It’s always fun to see if you get the biggest figure in our entire state to slip up so you can torture him, right?

Hope he addresses the overwhelmingly lopsided killing of white men by police and white people by black men. It’s really getting out of hand in this country, just last year we had a black man drop a white baby off of a 3 story shopping mall just because he hated white people and there was no outrage, just last year 20 unarmed white men were killed by police to only 9 black men. You’re supposed to be color blind when doing this job, where’s the outrage?
