Why do OL's even run the 40 though? Admittedly, I believe the 40 yard dash is among the most useless stats in sports as it is.
Teams are also interested in the 5, 10, and 20 yd splits, which you can only show if you run the 40.

We Tiger fans know Will is the real deal and has been since his high school days.

He's ready for the NFL!

I considered myself quick and my best time was a 4.75. People that have never run against a laser or legit 40s that say they ran 4.3 or 4.4's in hs are full of shite. I thought i was fast AF! Nope
People Dont realize how fast 4.5 and below is Elite speed 4.4 to the 4.2s

At 6'2", 205 as a HS senior, I was a very average athlete. I was a starter, and lettered three years in football and track, but most of what I did was through great technique and "sports IQ". In the Spring of my senior year, just for shits and giggles, I switched over from "weight room" to "regular" PE. I was amazed how much I just dominated everyone in every sport we played. I was the fastest and strongest dude in the class.

Athletes are not normal people. People who have not competed just do not get it.

To get their 10 m split and to ultimately see how athletic they are.

Teams at the back of the draft are bad mouthing him "Arms are too short to play tackle!" in hopes that he will fall to them.
