But if you're a good player, at some point, those guys say "we had to deal with Campbell from New England." If you can't handle any of the top guys in the league, then you're not a top-notch player.

It's not your fault it's just a dumb waste of time to police fans who are never going to be rational about anything on a fan message board. The whole point of being a fan is suspending reality and hoping the best for whatever team of group of players you root for.

Coming on here and being opposite and trying to dunk on fans for irrational opinions is just extremely tired.

Workout warriors don’t always equate to good NFL players.

He’s never been able to move bodies in the running game. Not even at LSU. Thats not going to magically change.

I think it's just technique, and I agree with you, but he is a very strong human being.

Compared to 99.9% of other humans? Yes, he is. Problem is he’s routinely going head to head against that .01%.

He has trouble moving edge rushers, and with the power rush from them. I just don’t see how moving him inside where he would be facing even stronger guys is a solution for him.

Physically, he is much better suited to play guard

As an OT
HT: 6057 (50th percentile)
WT: 319 (67th percentile)
Arm: 32 5/8 (7th percentile)
Hand: 9 1/2 (13th percentile)

As a OG
HT: 6057 (87th)
WT: 319 (69th)
Arm: 32 5/8 (23rd)
Hand: 9 1/2 (22nd)

He will be fine. He's a rookie no matter what. Give next season and he will be a lot better. By year 3 will be great.

Heard has a lower grade than a guard?

Sometimes you lock yourself into takes and look really dumb.

Also Lance Heard is about to play for Kentucky and Campbell just played in the super bowl.

But that I guess an MCL sprain can level them playing field.

While I do agree his performance was not a strong showing at all, you have to think that top tier pass rushers love the fact a rookie is assigned to block them. It's a part of the game. It would be the same if it were reversed where you have a rookie pass rusher vs a seasoned LT. PFF ranked him as the 25th overall at the Tackle position and he's the highest ranked rookie, (12th) in pressure rate. Seattle was well prepared to get after him.

I wonder if Rex made has been making this comment all season long or was this his first and only time he or anyone else has felt he should be playing Guard.

And yet here you are in this exact thread telling fans a a message board how wrong they are. Looks like me and you aren’t so different are we?

Lol what? The whole point of being a fan is rooting for your team. You don’t have to “suspend reality” to be a fan. Oh btw, you were calling for McMahon to be fired at halftime a few days ago. Why don’t you just suspend reality and hope for the best?

It was talked about at length around the draft process because of his short arms

I don’t know about Rex all season but he did call him a liability after the AFCCG

quote:

“They better help that left tackle, who can’t block me,” Ryan said on ESPN’s “Get Up”. “If they do that, they’ll have a chance.” Adam Schefter then asked if Ryan was referring to Campbell and what he thought of the rookie at left tackle. “You think what I think,” Ryan said. “I think he’d be a hell of a center — playing left tackle."

He hasn’t transferred either time because he isn’t good. Guess you’ll understand you are wrong in April 2027

His arm length was widely discussec and everyone knew it would be a liability. He got roasted out there. Just no chance

He's a Rookie ... and has things to improve on.

The arm length , well it is what it is... Guard position might be the option if he doesn't improve at Tackle.

Seahawks took advantage of a weakness
