And I’ll also answer some of the questions.

-DL is absolutely elite with the best pass rushing talent in the country. And our transfers at DT, DE and pass rush specialist are such an improvement and most of them were starters at their prior school. So not sure where your statement comes from

-WR production is far better than last year, not sure how you can say it’s going to be the same when you add BB and Nic Anderson to Chris Hilton and Aaron Anderson. It is a significant upgrade

-I can see your point on LB’s, but another year for Whit Weeks and an improved DL to help free him up will just make him and every other LB even better.

-CB’s: we signed the #1 overall CB in America this year, Stamps and Woodland are going to be a year better, and Delane has locked down everyone in the ACC for 3 years. Safety and how our transfers will transition is the only question mark in the secondary.

-RB: I don’t know how you can’t be excited about a healthy Durham. The dude was a monster as a true freshman.

-OL: only cause for concern in my opinion. Can they gel, create running lanes, and keep Nuss off his back? That’s the only question that could prevent us from being a legit top 4 threat for a natty.

I think the problem is that you aren't looking at the quality of the transfer players. You speak about the like they are just generic average players. In most cases they aren't... At least not this year.

You are not wrong, we have to see it on the field. But I truly believe our D will be better....much better. The O-line will prolly take time. We have a seasoned QB at the most important position. The biggest thing is our schedule..... no Texas, no UGA and we get Vandy. Favorable home schedule. This has to be the year for Kelly.

Our QB, RB, and wide receivers are very good, but basically will be the same output as last year.
we are dramatically better at WR. QB should be slightly better. We lost Josh Williams

Entire secondary is transfers outside of Stamps who is sort of mid, also huge question mark.
we are vastly superior this year

D-line - two solid guys inside but are first time starters
our best interior lineman at start of last year isn’t starting

OP has a point because how much of an improvement can the returning players show? We kinda know what to expect from them.

Let’s not forget year two under same coordinators. 1.5 years v .5 years will be huge.

Our OL needs to be solid, but we have recruited and used the portal well. We have the answers somewhere on the team

there will be 6-8 starters that weren’t even on our team last year.

QBs make tremendous strides in year two. Remember Daniels, Burrow? That’s just on our team.

Lacy was our best WR last year. He wouldn’t start on this team.

Neither safety from last year would start. Only 1 CB would start. We add Perkins back. He is potential All American.

Yes. It may go to shite. But to say we have the same players that won’t improve is ultimate trolling bullshite

We are loaded at certain positions and other positions have wait and see type players.

Safety, OLine, CB

I think those are our main three if we did have weakness would be it
Otherwise we have talent everywhere. We just need to play together as a unit and let that talent do what they are supposed to do.

I didn’t say they won’t improve. Just not a dramatic improvement.

Then you are stupid. This team is stacked pretty much all around with good coaching. This is our best chance at a natty since we won it last.

You need to post on your own team's board. Obviously you don't follow LSU football at all.
1) QB is better IF Nussmeier takes easy rushing yards
2) RB is better with Durham healthy this season
3) The WR room is awesome with Brown and Anderson that everyone wanted to sign from TP
4) OL IS a ? mark...I will give you that one
5) how you talk about starting transfers from NC State, VA Tech, maybe Florida if he starts as negatives. They are NOT ? marks especially compared to the incompetent Burns and Ryan now gone
6) West Weeks is good so obviously you can't evaluate football talent. Whit Weeks is preseason All SEC and could be All American 1st team
7) DL will be BETTER than last year's with the transfers at DE and Reliford making the edges very good. And the DT are BETTER with McKinley and the transfers
8) Kicker does NOT blow. The punter HAS to be better than last year's who was pitiful. The FG kickers will have more range

To summarize every unit on defense is better and only ? mark on offense is the OL. I really suggest you post on your own board because quite frankly attempting to spew crap about LSU football is not working. You just proved yourself either an anti-LSU TROLL and/or completely devoid of football evaluation knowledge. GEAUX AWAY, a-hole!
