Nuss in Football experience is a sophomore, would you ask Bama fans why they would want Young to start last year?

This is not the old days were qb has to wait there turn you put in the best player.

In GN one start he threw 2 Int and was 18 of 37. He has done nothing to prove that he is the best option to win.
Don't confuse practice with live fire games

In a world of hurt if a redshirt freshman with 31.8 QB rating is your best option to win

Talented QBs usually take a big leap from their freshman year to their sophomore more year and that QB rating was primarily the result of one start. I would consider that number irrelevant at this point. Joe Burrow completed 46% of his passes in his first career start at LSU. That wasn’t a very good indicator of the future, now was it?

Would you be more accepting if he played one more game last year and be classified a sophomore this year?

Suggest you search You Tube for LSU vs Texas A&M 1986.
A&M was a ranked team.
Hodson

That brings back memories and still makes me giddy.

Why start a 5th year guy who can’t beat out a redshirt freshman?

hodson was a RS freshie. we have not had many freshies as starter. tyler but only because howard got hurt. JJ was because lee was hurt and lee was because hatch got hurt and RP was kicked off team. so it really was not because they beat out more experienced guys.

Yea. Jamies Winston, Johnny Manziel and Bryce Young should have all ridden the pine

None of those had a 31.8 QB rating as a freshman and are light years better than GN

List the exceptions as if they were the rule. Yeah that's the ticket

We have a very experienced and reputable coaching staff. Like with Arnsparger, I will accept their decision to play a freshman if they decide he is the man.
I haven't seen anything to indicate it would be the wrong choice.
If Nuss starts, he has earned it.

I'm so uninterested in this year's QB drama. I'm already exhausted by the #NussBus and #DanielsDudes who've firmly dug their heels in on their respective sides largely based on nothing. I'm good with whoever starts. Whatever man.

If he’s the real deal, he will be gone after his RS sophomore season anyway

redshirt freshmen start at QB all over the country, with great success, and have now for decades.

If the freshman gives us the best chance to win -- play him.

50.9 percent completion 2 TD & 2 Int with a 31.8 QB

LMAO
You really think he gives us a better chance to win?

I want the RS freshman to start because outside of Walker Howard, he has the strongest arm on the team, he's the most accurate passer, and he's mobile enough to give defenses a hard time.

Because he would give you the best chance to win. Not saying he does but I don’t care if a walk-on starts if the coach thinks he’s the best option. Unlike our two previous coaches I trust BK to make the right choice
