if you wanna be part of a team and a successful program and contribute all you can to that, then yeah Lsu is the program for any kind of recruit.
This is the type of running back I would rather have here anyway.

its amazing how many people forget how great he did as a freshman.
it's more amazing that the "argument" y'all fall back on is what he did 2 years ago. At this point, it's more likely KW is the 4th best RB than the best.

What's even more amazing is how rantards actually think recruits will think like disgruntled fans.

We have a lot of angry fans on here. We got 2 in 5 years, you'd think they'd be happy.
I think there is an inferiority complex among the disgruntled fans we have.

more like 2nd best.
murphy still hasnt shown that he is better than scott or williams in a GAME.
trindon and ridley definitely are not better than keiland.

maybe, but he's clearly not the 1st at this point

I'm not sure how you can say Ridley is definitely not better. He may not be, but he sure looked better last week.

he looked good on his two or three carries.
but at this point scott is the only other RB that has shown he can be a game changer like keiland.

I agree. I'm still holding out hope that Keiland will turn it on, but at some point, you are what you are.

well ridley was going up against backups
1-AA backups
ridley is scott's backup anyway

Let me be clear that I was not arguing Ridley is better than KW. Just stating that the opposite has certainly not been proven either at this point.

well we have 2 types of running plays, and 2 different RBs for the running plays
Big Back/Up the Gut:
1. CS
2. Ridley
Speed Back/Outside-Option:
1. KW
2. Murphy
and murphy really hasn't done anything to make me think he's upstaged KW as of RIGHT NOW

I agree. Scott is the only one who's proven he's better right now. But no one has proven they're worse either. Still lots of carries to be had.

what did he exactly do as a Freshman?

Was 2nd on the team in rushing, behind Hester by only 4 yards (with 18 less carries).
Also had 5 TDs and 5.7 ypc.

what a huge season

Whoever the no.1 back is (Hester) 2007, (Scott) 2008, will get enough carries to show the NFL what they can do, WITHOUT getting used up in college. Scouting is pretty thorough these days, if you can run, the NFL will find you in most cases, and in every case if you play for a program like LSU

Same argument can be made for USC. If you win, the big-boys will want to come. Everybody wants to prove they're the man.

Not saying it is huge, but I'd say its pretty damn good for a freshman. By comparison, McKnight only had about 50 more yards, same YPC, and 2 less TDs his freshman year but now he is in the heisman race. (Although McKnight had a much better receiving year than KW 2006).

KW is soft. I repeat KW is soft. He doesn't like contact.
