Light Years!
OL is the widest talent gap difference between LSU and OSU/Oregon....

I don't know.
I mean, maybe there's a huge gap but it's really impossible to tell how LSU's OL might've been with a competent QB.
People VASTLY underestimate the challenge of trying to run against a defense that has NO BELIEF WHATSOEVER that you can beat them with the pass.
Think about what good LSU defenses have done to teams that were completely one dimensional. It's typically not pretty.

LSU running backs aren't worn out by the time they are drafted. It's stinks offensively but it is in LF's best interest.

Les Miles isn't paid $4.5 million (or whatever) to get players drafted. We see them all shine on Sundays, fantastic. How bout winning a couple of championships?

So as long as we have an NFL starter at QB and 2 NFL stars at WR and 1 at RB, this staff can produce a middle of the conference offense. Simple enough formula

Let me try this again. Elliot only averaged 1.5 more carries a game than LF

NO!!! Just NO!!! LSUs line is a hellava lot better than you think!! It's depth and quality is getting better too.

and Les was 3-3 against Meyer at Florida.....weird
It wasn't the offense that carried LSU to those wins, friend...

With truck holes to run through due to misdirection and creativity in the offense.
that's a big part of it. OSU was running traps and delays. lot of misdirection and creativity.
Les wants the RB to run into a wall of 9 bodies.

With a competent QB, this isn't an issue

True but much different teams also

We did have a 5* QB riding the pine while the worst QB in the FBS led our team..
If Harris is still a 5 Star QB then what is Ohio's 3rd string QB rated?

Man.... The guy himself, yes Beckwith himself said he was not ready to play at the beginning of this year much less last year?? What are you going to do say ok buddy I know you not ready but go ahead and get in there and oh good luck? That's how you get people hurt and cause career ending injury. Same thing with Harris why would you start him knowing he isn't ready to go?? Get him hurt and knock all his confidence out bf he even has a chance? I believe we should have slowly worked him into the games but some guy are ready out of HS and some aren't. Adams was one of those guys, and Beckwith wasn't.

Don't try to rationalize anything in this shitshow of a thread.
Somehow I knew this board would be filled with threads exactly like this after the game. The only thing that is acceptable to some in our fanbase is national titles. If we don't expect national titles every year, it is accepting mediocrity.![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Iconbow.gif)

Ok but they turned him loose when it mattered most and rode his arse to the NC.

Are you this dumb IRL? Seriously....nobody expects to win NCs every year. Now, compete for NCs, be in the hunt after October, staying in the top 25 all year, a BCS bowl occasionally....these are not unreasonable expectations for a program of our stature.
$4.5 million says we should be getting these things every year.
