That call could change the game dramatically. A-his fricking foot was still on the bag! B-the umpire didn't issue the walk until after the guy had tagged him. C-the guy only tagged him once. And that was before his hand came off the bag.

Shitty umpiring right there. Did they even go to the home plate umpire to ask what he saw and did?

Quit being biased. He was obviously out. Good call by the ump

That wouldn't be a repayable call

Even if it was off the bag, it looked like he called him out before that happened. Which one more thing, it was a walk. Never heard of a pick off on a walk.

The ump obviously called him out after he over slid the bag. The ump did NOT call him safe when he first touched the bag bc he didn't have to (runner was awarded 2nd base bc of the walk).

You capitalized the first words of your sentences, and you seem to have punctuated it correctly. That's the 5%.

It's still fricking stupid one runner can be a live runner while the guy going to first is not in play. It should be a deal ball until the runner gets to first.. Unless there's a wild pitch.

the biggest travesty is the home plant umpire, he should have been yelling walk and stopping the play. he fricked it up, and we got extremely unlucky

I don't know about having replays yet but a challenge system like in the NFL would be good. A coach would get two replay calls per game. If they are correct then the change is made. If they are wrong then the team takes an out at that bat or the next at bat.

It being a walk doesn't "stop" the play.

its becuase a runner is allowed to advance on a walk...like on ball 4 if ball gets away and runner on, the runner could run all the way to third, or if the catcher would have overthrown 2nd right there he could have advanced to third

it was really just extremely unlucky
