Yep. If not for the deep NIL pockets in Lake Charles and all of the 5 stars he was able to sign at McNeese he wouldn’t have tied the NCAA record for the biggest single season turnaround in history last season.
With McNeese this season he lost AT Alabama and Mississippi State by less than 10 points this year. McMahon will play both this year. I doubt he’s that close against each beyond the 12 minute mark in the 1st half.
If only he could tap into that vast LC NIL purse.

A high percentage "Luzianner Lifers" have "Mediocrity" engrained into their consciousness. (LSU Football/Sports and every other aspect of their existence)
I was a Luzianner Resident for the majority of my life, but living in Florida and Texas is almost like living on another planet. (Much higher "Quality of Life")

Not if he goes winless in the SEC. Not a great chance, but still a chance. You would think they could luck out and squeeze 1 or 2 wins, but I wouldn’t be shocked at 0-18 either.

Only reason they wouldn't fire him is his buyout.
I thought the roster would be much more competitive this yr. Guess I was wrong.

They are not going winless, they may even win tomorrow night. Nonetheless, I'm not saying fire him or don't fire him, I'm just saying in all likelihood it's not happening this year. Now if the product looks much the same next year even though no one cares about men's hoops relatively speaking, it will become too dire to ignore.

What makes you think that?
Wishful thinking, likely.
