Why no lids/straws at LSU concessions?

I have always wondered this.
What is the dumb reason LSU came up with to not have lids and straws for drinks at games?
It cannot be cost because the drinks are already sky high.

That's actually a good question.
Also why was the snowball stand open Friday night?

Easier to spill so that you have to buy another drink?

Alabama won the national championship, not us.

I've never see lids/straws at concessions in a stadium.
maybe I just don't go to stadiums that have this?

Wayyyy less trash to pick up. Working at a rec park has taught me straws are the most agrivating thing to pick up

Better question: why do they insist on filling like 80% of the cup's capacity with ice, especially on a cold day such as today?

To dispense less drink.

I can't recall it ever either (not that I've ever really cared enough to notice). I realize that it does add a few seconds to the transaction (and there are long lines of fans usually waiting to be served), but it just seems like if fast food restaurants have time to do it, then concessions stands could too.

this was the first thing that came to my mind...

I doubt fast food restaurants have to deal with anywhere close to the same quantity of patrons in such a small amount of time.
I imagine the waste would be different too. I would think the amount of wasted lids and straws in a stadium would be crazy. Might nit be a big deal for one night, but over time.

I usually try to get them to leave the ice out during this time of year, but that seems to piss them off...
Because this makes them give you more drink.
