Basically Its brennans job to lose. They already know he can make his reads and make the throws from a clean pocket better than the others. They wanna see how he handles pressure since he is a statue. So theyre letting him practice behind the 2nd team oline. Letting him get reps against pressure.

They already know nuss and daniels can escape pressure with their legs. But they dont know if they can actually make the throws and read a defense. Thats why they are letting em practice with the first team oline. Giving them the best chance for a clean pocket to work on reads

I hate this part of the preseason as much as I hate the weather this time of year

This is actually the reason. Downvote if you want but Brennan is the man to beat. The question is will any of the other 3 beat him. Time will tell but I doubt it. Brennan’s arm is just that good.

The mental gymnastics some of you are going through to prop up MB is just... quite impressive actually.

Occam's razor my man. Myles didnt put in the work this summer, isnt mobile (Denbrock's made it clear his preference there), isnt the preferred choice of our playmakers, isnt working with the 1s, etc. etc.

Look i appreciate he stuck around for so long but the writing is on the wall and hope he stays for depth purposes but its JD or Nuss at this point.

Stop with the 1s and 2s nonsense. Every DB who supposedly “ran with the 1s” last practice isn’t going to start and the walk-on RB who “ran with the 1s” almost guaranteed won’t play 20 snaps all season long.

The only thing denbrock made clear is a guy who understands the offense and doesnt turn the ball over. As for who the players want, if coaches went by that then we would have started McMillain in 2018 over Burrow

If you told me that I had to pick either Myles Brennan right now or Rickie Collins right now to go out and win me 1 game, I'm picking high school senior Rickie and I don't even have to think twice about it

If SpiderJohn wants to start an absolute abortion of a thread, he shouldn't be surprised when people don't take it seriously

Nah, not true. He's already out of the competition because MB didn't care enough about winning the starting job to show up everyday like Nuss and Daniels did to pass to the wide receivers during summer workouts. So now he is being rewarded by being relegated to working mostly with the threes.

Hey, don't shoot the messenger. I didn't make his choices for him.

Because that’s where he belongs with the second team
