Why isn't Kelly getting more criticism for end of game clock management?

Because we won the game and after kicking the field goal, Arkansas did not have a realistic chance at victory.

Les Miles has lost control over the clock operator

with our defense they most certainly did

Oh, it's also because people here are the only ones who like to be miserable. So misery seekers on the rant want to make it an issue but normal people can realize we won and it worked, and 999 times out of 1000 it would work out the same as it just did.

I mean he’s been getting absolutely roasted on here for it, not sure what criticism you expect

Not good enough. Les Miles won clown games (e.g., 2010 Tenn) and was rightly criticized for it

And people are bitching about other aspects of the game, like the defense's inability to get off the field

They had a chance that was more than zero, which is absurd given the circumstance we were in after Diggs picked up our last first down

They work more often than if we had kick a fg with 0 seconds left.

Because there were several ways to handle that situation. Probably should have ran once more and then called the TO. Or could’ve kicked on 3rd in case of bad snap. Or could have tried to kneel and center the kick. Etc.
And I think BK was thinking arky might let us score to get the ball back so was calling TOs to get everyone on the same page.


It was kinda sloppy but not Les miles level clock mismanagement
