It gives the AU line time to setup their holds.

Auburn has been driving people nuts with those quirky delayed handoffs for years - they are the Zen masters of it...

Then the QB pulls it down and pops it over to the WR or TE or FB in the vacated space.

MSU is going to carve this defense up.

Never Os are like NeverTrumps. They are obsessed with the person and ignore the results. When attacks get embarrassingly ridiculous, they don’t go away for long...they just find another angle to bash our coach and our team. Legit criticisms are fine. But the unrelenting, same old crap over and over from Never Os is bad for LSU, it hurts recruiting, and it feeds the media with poison about our entire program.

Expect Dianne Feinstein to have an announcement about O or E in the coming weeks!

Aranda made his adjustments at half and AU only got 89'ish for the rest of the game. Doesn't always being a negative arse ever get old for you?

accomplishes the same thing as the toss dive does from under center. gives the linemen time to maneuver and gives the rb an extra split-second of recognition time.

Aub staple, Johnson tore us up last year too until we adjusted.

It can be used for 2 different types of plays...the QB read option and RPO. The QB has one read on different types of plays. Sometimes he is reading a DE or OLB that is unblocked. In this case, the defensive player has to either commit to the RB or the QB. Another situation, the QB could read MLB or OLB and if they step up for the run, the QB will pass to the area that they voided. In both situations, the long read allows the QB to have longer to read the defense and causes the defense to make a commitment

There's been a lot of good feedback from several in this thread, and it's appreciated. I can't imagine anyone running it better than Auburn does. Just glad Aranda made the adjustment. I assume that's the reason Gus pretty much abandoned it by the 4th quarter.
