What have they done besides play Alabama in a close game in the NC? In which they choked!

The media loves them some UGA. They get the stigma of being a big bad SEC school while playing in the easier division of the two, and never having that loss to bama in the regular season makes them appear better than they really are.

They have played a Bama muuuch closer than LSU has the last 2 years. The won the Rose bowl. That is what they are living off of

They're really good, but I am a little mystified as to why some pundits are so eager to include them with Bama and Clemson as having "separated themselves" or being "a cut above everyone else".
Maybe they'll prove that to be true, but maybe let Kirby win more than one SEC title first, let alone a national championship.

Why you care right now? We play a schedule that allows us to control our destiny. Relax about the rankings. CFP rankings are the only ones that matter anyway.

I’d guess because rankings from the beginning of the season through about week 3/4 are based on previous years. And all that matters is they’ve played bama close the last 2 years. That’s all.

I’m not stressing about rankings because you are right the schedule will play out. Fromm is a good QB but not a runner. If we were to play them right now it would be worse than it was last year.

I honestly think we'd run UGA out of the building more then a year ago. They are not any better then they were last year, but we are much better on offense. UGA isn't as high powered, up tempo as UT, and our defense matches up better against them.
Bama seems to be on par with what they were every year, Clemson doesn't seem as good as they were last year, and OU is OU.
