Why is everyone freaking out about the baseball team?

We went toe to toe with arky. It was basically a toss up game. Arky doesn't have good pitchers left and we do. We'll win the series 2-1.

Our starters for Saturday and Sunday haven’t got out of the 3rd inning. Yeah you can say I am a little concerned.

I agree with your premise and definitely feel that they sold out and blew their load so to speak to win this game, but do we really have a lot of good pitchers left to shut things down? I think we’ll win these with our offense but don’t necessarily expect us to shut them down tomorrow.

There was talk on here of this being one of the greatest college baseball teams of all time. Going 25-5 in sec play, etc etc.
I don’t think anyone is saying the season is a failure or over or we can’t win the title. But it’s becoming pretty clear we’re just a good team. Top ten, maybe top 15. Which is fine. Should be a fun season.
But it’s definitely not what was being bandied around 2 weeks ago.

Perhaps the run rule games didn’t allow us to see the limit to our bullpen depth? That’s my thought. SEC baseball is SEC baseball though, you pay for your mistakes. We had our chances and didn’t take them, and Arkansas did. Tomorrow is a new day

Some dudes are melting but the reality is it's disappointing that our lineup played so piss poor in the first 9 when Skenes produced a gem.
Our only run was a solo jack by the freshman catcher.
Crews, tanks, Dugas, Morgan all were shitty
Jobert is a vet with that dumbass running error and Jay just seems to keep pressing the wrong button in that lead off spot and in relief pitching

It’s definitely better to face the noise earlier rather than later.. they can learn the flaws sooner and adjust. Have to feel like we come around with our talent
