Baseball managers have almost zero impact on the game.

Wow

Baseball coaches have more impact than most sports. Yes you have to have the talent in place and some teams have more talent than others.

That must be why Nikki Fargus still has a job. It's never the coach's fault.

Cause the buck stops with him. If this is so easy why don't you go coach Fox McCloud?

Baseball managers have almost zero impact on the game. The players aren’t getting it done and it’s obvious. Everybody always blames the coaches at LSU, it’s nauseating listening to it. The players play the game. Everybody needs to quit with the bitching.

Losing close games is on the coach, none more obvious than continually throwing a hitter fast balls until he hit one. The pitches that were called were the mistake, and that’s on the coaches.

Your question ranks amongst the dumbest in the history of mankind.

However, it does prove two things:

1. It proves you are clearly ill equipped to participate in this forum and,

2. It proves incorrect the statement that there are no stupid questions.

FYI, ALL baseball teams currently in existence, previously in existence, and those yet to exist are managed by a head coach. These head coaches are RESPONSIBLE for every element of their team’s performance. I am now less intelligent for having read your question.

They are paying him to recruit. Almost anyone can manage a fricking baseball game with good players. It’s literally one of the easiest jobs in all of sports.

So you’re saying he’s failed in his recruiting evaluations?

Lsu in the last 4 years has had a recruiting class of 2, 3 , 4 , and 7. That is an average of 4. These kids have been evaluated and scouted since 8th grade. The talent is there. So what other team has had top 5 classes the last 4 years and are not even in the top 20 in the nation. Then it comes down to coaching.the coach makes the line ups coach calls steal plays, he makes all the plays How do you have a dh that only hits.218 . He has batted 78 times give somebody else a try.
