Why is Brossette fumble prone?

Brossettes upright running style seems reminiscint of Darren McFadden.
Is this the reason for his propensity to fumble?

That is certainly true !
Unfortunately I haven`t had a chance to see a larger sample of his ball carrying abilities because he can`t get on the field because has had problems holding on to the ball almost every time he plays at all !
I like the guy and feel he is under estimated as McFadden was due to concerns that McFadden`s upright style made him more fumble prone
Yet Darren had excellent careers first with Arkansas and later with The Raiders in tge NFL !

Nick is gonna have a solid season next year. If you notice on the kickoff return against Bama he was very aware of ball security. Inside of fighting for an extra yard or two he realized the impact of a fumble compared to two yards. Good sign. The fumble against troy was a freak thing imo. Direct hit from a helmet. He stayed too upright. He needed to get low as the lber came. He will learn from that.
