It’s not just the past few games, it’s been the whole season. We are struggling to put away middle of the pack teams and lost to one today. Meanwhile when we go up against a good team in Texas, we get whipped. This team has all the peices to succeed but they just aren’t gelling right now, anyone have any thoughts?

I was mad last weekend. I just acknowledge this is early still in the season and Mainieri is trying to find things that work while progressing the team towards getting better

Pitching has been sub par at best and hitting is not there against anything more than a high school arm. Lots of improvement to be made by everyone.

It has been the whole season. We struggled mightily against the likes of Army, ULM, Cal, and even let Bryant get back in it at points. We’ve only dominated Air Force and Southern.

Too many walks by pitchers. No lefties to go to

Too many left hand hitters, not enough balance in the lineup. I don’t enjoy the lineup construction at all

This team wasn’t very good last year. I think expectations are/were too high for them coming into this season.

Dude, listen to yourself! The season just started. You make it seem like they are 30 games in. Chill out

They are just not that good. No true Friday night starter and the bottom 1/3rd of their
lineup is a black hole of offensive production. You aren’t going to win many series against good teams with that combination.

That’s not true. Mathis had a homer today and has been hitting well. Hughes has been getting on base etc., sounds like a rant talking point

I think now its definitely safe to say they r OVERRATED. I played competitive baseball for a very long time and I dont care what anybody says ... not having a lefty on Roster is a big deal. In that time of playing baseball never not ever did I play on a team without a left handed pitcher. It is safe to say that is a Huge deal.

Because about 70% of your staring lineup is slightly heavier than horse jockeys.

Hughes 174 lbs
Smith 172 lbs
DiGiacomo 172 lbs
Duplantis 177 lbs
Watson 160 lbs
Broussard 162 lbs
Reid at a monstrous 182 lbs

Lol and that too. In skip days we were basically handing out roids to assure a gorilla ball mentality. Maneiri likes Bunters

Way overrated. Pitching has greatly underachieved and there no guarantee they’ll get better. Bottom of order is putrid and it’s our worse defensive team in years......
