how do you explain the terrible throws missing wide open WRs last week, and throwing a TD pass 7 feet short of a 6'4" receiver for an int?

Easy. He had a bad game, but compared to his backup even his game last week wasn't as bad as his backups last game last season against La Tech.

is that the O lines fault or Crowton's fault?

Didn't say it was. Last week's problems were mostly on JJ, but the majority of problems were due to a piss poor offensive line last season and an incompetent offensive coordinator, and the piss poor performance in the second half of the NC game were again due to piss poor play calling. JJ had a bad game last week. I don't deny that. But nevertheless JJ hasn't been the fount of all our problems the past couple of seasons on offense. For that I blame it on the coaches for their lame offensive scheme and piss poor coaching.

So we can expect JJ to improve from week to week, but not JL from year to year?

Lee does this way better than JJ.

If JJ comes out and stinks it up again, I'll be the first to call for JL to be given a shot, but the fact of the matter is JJ had not been the problem until that one bad game last week, which was completely out of character. LSU's biggest problem is the OC and piss poor QB coaching.

Past performance is the best predictor of future performances and so for JJ had one terrible game in his career, and JL has had 10 terrible games in his career.

So was his game against Florida last year not bad?

I can think of the 1 he started last year as a terrible game. What are the other 9?

To which team, try again. JJ has a better completion percentage and has no problems in the short passing game (excluding last week). What seasons have you been watching?

If you weren't serious with these post it would be the funniest shite I have ever read.

All I can figure is you are either blind or have the initials JJ.

fair enough... hes human too. It really seems like our offense and play calling is designed to minimize the damage our QB does.

Thats a big problem. Im afraid that when we turn him loose, we may see more Vandy-type mistakes.

JL needs playing time, and RS should get a few option looks.

You are right regarding getting the ball to the receivers with the exception of his last game. But if you watch closely on his short passes, even last year, they are rarely hitting the guy at shoulder or chest level. His throws are usually low or really high over their heads, but still get caught. The problem with those plays, is they are all about timing in order to be successful. A bad throw that still gets caught screws up the receivers momentum, killing the timing of the play.

Still better than the other team catching it in stride.

So you are one of those who doesn't think players can progress from year to year. Got it.

so youre saying lee threw 15 ints out of 300 pass attempts or what ever so that means every pass he throws goes to the other team?

No, I am one who thinks Monday morning QBs are called Monday morning QBs for a reason.
