Why don't we see a pitch count on the video Board at Alex Box?

Since we began showing the pitcher on the board a few years ago, many of us have been hoping/waiting for a pitch count to be added just under his name.
Anyone know why we don't have it? Surely, it can be added and it isn't something CPM doesn't want broadcast to fans. Is it?

Hmm. Has it been missing all season? It's on the board. The first couple years they put the speed up it was posted for about 1/2 a second.
Now it's up about 3.

I believe ESPN only does that when the game is on tv, not internet only.

Why did they stop showing what class everyone is in? I like to know if they're freshman, sophomore, etc.

I may be making this up, but I seem to recall Mainieri giving an interview where he said he didn't want the pitchers to see it and have it affect their mental game.

I can't remember which February cupcake we were playing, but in 09 or 10 an opposing player hit an absolute laser into our brand new beautiful board. We all sat there in left field in shock waiting for it to shut down or blow up like the lights scene from The Natural.

I've been asking to do away with the clock and to add a pitch count for years. We have two clocks on the scoreboard- digital and old traditional on top of it.
I know for a fact that the scoreboard is being expanded next year. It's essentially a series of panels and new digital panels are being added on each side. Hopefully the result is a larger replay screen and side stats, similar to what we have in the PMAC.
