It's just one of the things he says. He says it about both teams. I do not think Verne or Gary are biased against LSU at all. LSU did not do too many good things in the game against BAMA so there wasn't much positive to say about LSU's performance.

I do think Verne should retire. He is somewhat annoying and often makes mistakes on a player's name, etc. (not that I could do a better job) and his knowledge of the game is somewhat lacking. On the other hand, I thing Gary is a very good color guy. He is knowledgeable and articulate, offers a lot of good insight into the intracacies of the game and in my opinion he is, for the most part, unbiased.
