Why does USA Today list TDP as being injured?

I don't know how much credence to give this site, since it cannot even get the player's name right and lists no source. I presume it is nonsense. Can any of the "insiders" here confirm?

I thought I saw he was wearing non-contact jersey in one of the bowl preps, but if it were anything to worry about we’d have heard about it by now.

Good thing Davis-Prince is not a person on our team.

This late in the season I’m sure everyone is a little banged up

We’re getting banged up in practice.

If both CEH and TDP are out, there is legitimate reason to be very concerned. We could end up being completely one-dimensional on offense.

Seems odd because the date says 12-17 and you can clearly see TDP practicing on 12-18 at full speed in this video.

12-18

Maybe he is actually not injured, and they are tying to keep it that way

Being one demential toward the pass game with these players and this offense against this defense wouldn’t ever be a bad thing. We would have plenty of run game between Curry, Emery and Burrow to keep them honest plus these players are just head and shoulders better than Oklahoma’s defense.

Have you guys seen this backend for the Sooners? They’re kinda light and I think will have real trouble handling our physical style of passing attack. It could be a long day for their defense. It’ll tough to play man against us so they will need to be very very good at playing zone and have some advanced zone blitz scheme to try and combat this offense.

Ty Davis Price will be fine for the game and I actually believe LSU could come out in some type of pistol formation with our big FB in front of our backs then keep switching from 2 WRs and a TE set to 3 WRs with the TE or big WRs flexed. We have some huge guys back there who we can take advantage of as well. Guys like Marshall, Chase, McMath, Moss and we still have Sullivan as well.

Brady will have a great game plan for the guys we have available. No doubt. All year this LSU OL has been better in run blocking rather that pass pro so we can take advantage of this which I think would cause lots of trouble for their defense. I’d just like to see LSU show that we can still be very good playing physical in the run game and mixing some pass with it. Would give the other two teams something to worry about and game plan for as well.

What sort of injury? When sustained? Do you have any sort of confirmation of this?
