It’s just this simple.

Mathieu loved LSU. Simmons used it as a tool.

Huh?
Mathieu has donated to LSU, has Simmons?
Mathieu did a lot for the program and basically won us the SEC championship game when we couldn't generate any offense.

Yes, Mathieu reps LSU every where.
I am extremely proud of Tyrann. He's a really, really, good dude who overcame a rough upbringing.
I don't hate Ben Simmons at all, but Tyrann is so good to this university. He loves LSU. It shows a lot of respect that he never had any hard feelings.

One was a complete game changer who led his team to the NC game before running into substance abuse problems, over coming it and becoming an incredible ambassador for our school and program.
The other willingly quit on his mediocre team and whined about having to go to class and not receiving a paycheck.

What kind of LSU fan are you to even ask this question? Mathieu is a LEGEND in Tiger history while Simmons is all but forgotten. Why? Mathieu played his heart out on the field every game and always showed his love for LSU. Simmons forgot he was ever here, didn't have a heart, and we have pretty much forgot him too.

I'm told here that any time someone doesn't favor an individual with a darker pigment, it is automatically racism.
So, there. Racism.

But you’ve got it backwards, since we love Matthieu and hate Simmons (who’s half white).

Simmons was at LSU five minutes. Has he been back? has he ever showed us any love? Matthieu bleeds purple and gold and comes back regularly and donates to the university and its kids
Matthieu and Simmons should not be compared when it comes to LSU

One loves LSU and the other played here for a year.

Louisiana is in the bottom 3 in education. Have you been to political board? Go there for a bit and any questions of why this board is full of contradictions and full on stupidity will be answered.
In short people are fricking stupid or a nicer way “Bless their hearts.”

I hate neither and respect both as former Tigers. Regardless of the paths they took, they still came through LSU.

Matthieu rode for the brand.
Period.

Having trouble seeing where the LSU shite talking is located in that article. What did he say that was wrong? The minimum 1yr of college rule is dumb.
Never said what he said was wrong, but your words do have consequences. To say your time at LSU was a waste is not going to sit well with LSU fans and to think or say otherwise is disingenuous.

Tm7 played all out.
Simmons was like a shy 7th grader. No balls.
Ncaa game he was nothing.
My take.
