That ump was giving both teams that low pitch on the corner and I agree it was a ball but Tenn players and coaches lost their poise. He was giving Tenn pitchers the same pitch and did it the whole game. At least he called it both ways which we didn’t seem to see much of this year.

I don’t care if a team has fun while winning, but their version of fun is being cocky and arrogant assholes.

The coach does not act like a professional and it translates to the players.

Bama is professional but just hate to continue losing to them but I can respect them. Not with TN Baseball.

The team and fanbase have taken the personality of their coaches. It makes it easy to pull against them. A good ballclub with a heavy dose of immaturity and a knack for wanting to be the toughest dude on the block. Problem is you have to win when you get in that fight. No way that they beat ND twice.

I really don't care what the ump's strike zone is, as long as it's consistent for both teams. Eric Walker took advantage of the zone in Omaha, that helped us beat Oregon State.

Not even close. Wouldn’t we be even more jealous of Mississippi State, who actually won the most recent CWS? The contempt is for the lack of character of a coach, team and fanbase.

I had all the respect in the world for Tennessee before going there for super regionals last year. Most classless group ever. Cursed at for two days. I'll never go back to Knoxville.

I was like that to, esp since my family used to travel to the Smokey’s all the time. Except I realized who they were in 2011 when I went to the LSU/Tenn game in Knoxville. One of the worst experiences, it’s up there with Gainesville.

I actually didn't have a bad time in Knoxville in 2016. Maybe that's because Vitello wasn't the coach yet.

And many here would have given him a blow-job to be our head coach, lol.

I live in Tennessee and trust me until this baseball team you didn’t hear much except wait till next year. Once they’ve had some success, their fan base act worse than Bama and Florida fans put together. That’s just the way they are.

2 things can be true.

Tony Vitello is a great coach and I would have loved for LSU to hire him.

He is also a huge doucher.

It was Caleb Gilbert.

I saw on the Twitter that the player was warned earlier in the game about arguing balls and strikes also.

Because they are acting like a bunch of assholes on the field and acting like they are some kind of elite baseball program that has been winning for years when the fact is they have never won anything. Flipping off players of another team openly during a game? Showing up every pitcher every time they hit one out? They have shown 0 class and it reflects on the whole conference. I truly hope somehow ND takes them out. They probably won't but it would be great to see.

My Main issue is the way that they allow and encourage their players to openly curse out officials. That is embarrassing for a Coaching staff to have that attitude but to allow players to act that way is disgusting!
