One aspect that has performed very well so far this season is special teams. In a close game, like this on should be, those little things like FG's and field position will be crucial.

If you are starting a new idea...then you shouldn't use ellipses...you should simply put one period...and start a new sentence.
Just kidding. But seriously, LSUs defense has the depth to be able to rotate players in and out with very little drop off. Plus, Auburns offense does not really lend itself to slow plodding 15 play drives.

because we have a defense worth 10 points and an offense worth 14 points and that will be enough to win a close one

As long as the fanbase (this board in particular) literally bashes a 2-0 team with a win over the 8th ranked team in the country, allowing a total of 17 points over the past 8 quarters.. I promise you I won't get tired of it.

OUR defense will dominate. Moving deculas to RT.will improve OL. BURROW will have more time to pass. WE will see quick slants, screen passes and an outlet to throw to if BURROW has to get rid of it early keep a back in the flat. . Plus you'll see aranda with some timely blitzes

Cole Tracy will be able to knock down a 49 yd. FG on his only opportunity as LSU finally makes it all the way to the Auburn 32 late in the 4th qtr. LSU defense holds Auburn to a lone FG as well, but Rashard Lawrence provides the difference with a sack in the end zone. LSU wins 5-3.

LSU's DBs should win the individual battles with Auburn's receivers, Auburn's running backs are good, but not great, and Auburn's offensive line is struggling much like LSU's.
