Because the only thing the walk-on alumni really want is to fire coaches. Hiring coaches pisses them off so bad, they've got to find something to bitch about.

Having a WBB coach of Mulkey’s stature will help Wade get done what needs to be done for the men to be successful. Major facility upgrades are coming.

As long as it doesn’t affect spending for football, men’s basketball and baseball, no one should care about the salary.

You aren’t fricking paying it so why do you care? The salaries mostly come from private donors. So who are you to tell those guys how to spend their money.

I don't really care but if they are going to pay her that much they need to stop saying they can't do things because Covid killed their revenue.

Any LSU sports team that is TOP 10 ranked can be"Fathomed" quite easily.
Women's basketball used to be there and will be back there soon with the K-Lady 2.0 arrival.
Ever been to a Gymnastics meet in the PMAC? They draw more fans than a men's basketball game.

Women’s bball was extremely popular back when Seimone and Sylvia were taking us to Final Fours annually. No reason we can’t get back there again, and Mulkey is clearly someone that can do it.
