Since Charlie Mac, LSU fans have always hated and bitched about their coach, and said he was the worst and we can get a better coach. This even included the Sainted Saban until he left then the Sabanites elevated him to Godlike status. Why can't Tiger fans shut the F@#%@ up and realize that we have it better than almost all of the other universities in the nation.

It is written in stone that LSU fans will always hate their coach and the 1st string quarterback.

Because we could have it better than we have now. Quit your outdated LSU is a mom and pop local football thing. There is no reason LSU shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath as UF, USC, and UT almost every year as a NC contender

I think it is a Louisiana thing to be negative about our coach, our mayor, our priest, etc. Much different attitudes in other states.

BS!

The run and punt offense...the UAB loss...there are a million times I heard that he isn't SEC material. I love how people forget. We were ready to run that guy out of town, which was a big reason why he left. Nothing was good enough for LSU even then, and I'd bet he'd tell that to your face if he wouldn't be strung up for it.

I included Mac, he was the best example of LSU's unrealistic expectations running off a great coach. Yes, Mac would have retired in the early 80's but we could have done it with class and not had to suffer through the 2 or 3 good seasons and then a decade of futility (sorry if that word is too big for some of you rantards)

and do you know why?? because those schools have the TWO BEST coaches in college football. it's a harsh reality LSU fans need to get used to. you can't get a better coach than UF or Bama, because there are none.

and you people saying Saban wasn't hated at LSU must be rather young. I was in school from 2000-2005 and I can tell you a lot of people thought Saban was in over his head at times/using DiNardo's recruits to win/pissed about the UAB, Cotton Bowl losses, etc.. so STFU and know what you're talking about

Haven't they been mentioned as title contenders most every year since winning back in 2003? Hell, Gary Danielson picked LSU to be there this year. If it weren't for the debacle of last season, I'm sure more people would have been talking about them again this year. And there is also another obvious reason they aren't mentioned as often as those other schools: the media market! Much bigger market for those other schools.

you're on to something here...the victim mentality runs throughout much of the south, blaming others for anything/everything takes the heat off of us as individuals for taking responsibility of our own station in life.

I STILL LIKE SABAN.

I hope Bama kicks the &)*( out of Tebow.
