Honestly, message boards are the metaphorical epicenter of fights and it doesn't even take alcohol. At least at the game, people are rowdy and do it in person. On here, people hurl insults and call their brethren names the absolute second you disagree with them or express a different opinion. We are our own worst enemies, whether it's in a parking lot, stadium or on a keyboard.

Most visiting fans do not say we mistreat them, rather they love the pre game experience and the warm reception. It is during the game our players mistreat their players.

Just because someone cheers for LSU doesn't mean they aren't a total jackass.

Tim Cowan There is a video on his Facebook of a drunk fan annoying him all game.
His first post was:
“Landed in Baton Rouge. Can already smell the scum.”
He continued in that vein.
He shows a five second video of a young buck flipping them off.
I’m just saying there may be more to this story.
Cowan seems to be kind of a cowan.

Because we have a segment of drunk fans that berate people for no apparent reason and they need attitude adjustments from time to time.

We aren’t the only ones that do that. I’ve seen a lot of other sec teams fans get into fights with each other. Much more than they ever do with LSU or other fans.
There has been the occasional fight with two different teams fans, but of the 100s of games, I’ve seen a lot more LSU vs LSU fights and in my road trips only have seen a few LSU vs whoever fights and probably saw at least one home team vs home team.
Ole Miss might be the exception as they usually start a fight and then end up getting their arse whipped by some drunk 50 year old.

Alcohol makes you 10ft tall and bulletproof.

You are absolutely correct about our fans. I spoke with several Clemson fans and they were very nice.
