Why do LSU fans always fight our own fans

As much as visiting fans talk about how badly we treat them, how come it’s always LSU fans fighting other LSU fans? Why do we hate one another so much lmao.

I hate that tbh. It’s just trashy/ghetto to be like that. And it’s not the people you expect to be ghetto who were acting ghetto.
I was going up to lots of Clemson fans on Saturday, having friendly conversations with them. I wanted them to have a good time and see what LSU is all about, and how great we can be. I hate the trashiness of our fanbase sometimes. We just have too many low IQ people in our state and they make us look bad.

That Clemson fan was shitposting nonstop on FB.
I wasn’t there, but given his online presence, he may have provoked some of it.
The Clemson fans behind me were gracious, as we were to them.

Other than students, I'm 100% certain that the trouble comes primarily from "fans" who show up without a ticket who have no intention of going to the game. Whenever you bring up limiting the on campus crowd to ticket holders, you get a visceral reaction, but "the best tailgating atmosphere in the country" attracts its share of trash people who weren't raised right and don't know how to act in public.
