We have an edge at the majority of positions on the field imo. The fact that almost all of our skill players played in this game last year only helps.

That game will do absolutely nothing to help Monday. The LSU team played in games with just as much meaning as the NCG last year.

Poor Clemson has no clue what is about to happen to them.

Not sure. Maybe they really like North Carolina.

It seems to me, Alabama had NC experience in the game last year, and look what happened.

Yes but so did Clemson. LSU has played in a lot of big games this year and arguably some better opponents but it’s not the same as the NCG, it’s just not. Now will that matter? I don’t think so, but it is an advantage on paper for Clemson.

It still amazes me that some of find it amazing that fans of a that some of find it amazing that fans on a team that’s won 2 of the last 3 titles thinks their team will win like what are you expecting them to say? Honestly. That they have no chance?

You can have thar opinion if you want to. I would say they are all about even except our RB is slightly better and y'all have a better TE. Just my opinion. Stats do not mean everything. Would be interesting to see who would go first in the draft if Lawrence came out this year. We haven't played y'all but we have been to the Natty 4 out of the last 5 years and you can argue that means nothing if you want to but it helps us imo. Just like being in NOLA helps y'all. Y'all are a great to but not head and shoulders above us like y'all want to believe. We will find out Monday anyways just giving you a heads up.

Ofcourse LSU fans should be confident especially the way they are playing lately but so should Clemson fans. We just beat a team that many believe was every bit as good as LSU and we have been in the CFP 5 years in a row. Both teams and fans should expect to win.

Recent playoff experience didn't help OU, like, at all, so that's a weird take for them to have, IMHO.

Buddy, I try to be objective, and my OPINION is strictly fact based.

If Trevor Lawrence was better than Burrow, he would have won the Johnny Unitas Award. He did not. That means, RIGHT NOW, Burrow is better. Doesn't mean Lawrence bad. He's just not as good as Joe.

Etienne is better than CEH. Stats back it up. Doesn't mean CEH is terrible. Etienne is simply better.

Chase is the Biletnikof winner. That means no other receiver is better than him. Jefferson and Ross are both really good. Is one that much better than the other? No, so it's a wash.

LSU's 3 and 4 WRs are objectively better than Clemson's 3 and 4.

Moss is a better TE.

LSU's offensive line was judged to be the best in the country, so advantage LSU...AGAIN.

Does that mean Clemson has no shot? Of course not, but it all adds up to LSU having the better offense in this matchup.

maybe it's not the in game experience they are talking about, but the preparation. bobby Bowden talked about that in an interview that was posted a few days ago.

I trust Ed will know how much to practice.

All the yapping in the world means zero come next Monday evening.

The pundits are beating it to death.

Either team can win. Period.

It's going to be a good one.................that's for sure.

Peace.

Coach O has surrounded himself with people who have been there, and, best of all, he LISTENS.

Swinney and company may catch LSU with its pants down here or there, but I guarantee Coach O and company will return the favor.

I like our boys, but it probably won't be a blowout either way.

Higgins averages more yards and more TDs per reception if you wanna to off of stats. Y'all throw the ball about 8 times more a game than we do so ofcourse ur WRs have more yards and more TDs. I will give you Borrow if we are going by stats he is better this year.

Well, it was only a few weeks back that everyone in the Playoff except LSU were hanging their hats on their playoff experience. How’d that work out for OU in particular, given their multiple appearances in the playoff?

Sounds like good words, but the reality is, LSU has been in more big time game atmospheres than Clemson has this year and we are 14-0. Neither LSU or Clemson are going to be intimidated by a big time atmosphere or game on the line pressure. It’s going to get back to execution, the same as it is for every game.

Btw we average 1.5 more yards per carry and we have given up 14 less sacks than y'all. So who has the better OL? Why do you say y'alls are better? Because they won an award?

What else would you suggest that they hang their hat on?

So...how does about even equal to your earlier post stating your skill players have "the edge" over LSU's?

I'd think playing Bama, UGA, Florida and Auburn as opposed to Syracuse, FSU, NC State and Virginia have something to do with it. Clemsson got to OSU and had to run their QB to get a running game going.

Ya fricking think?

Burrow
5208
55TDs
6INTs

Lawrence
3431
36TDs
8INTs

He's not even in the same fricking stratosphere.

Yes. The award that goes to the offensive line judged to be the best in the country by people who focus on offensive line play.

Of course you gave up fewer sacks. The ACC is complete and utter trash with Clemson being the lone exception. Bowl season results back that up.

That could also account for the 1.5 yards per carry more that Clemson averages over LSU, though I have already conceded that Etienne is a better back than CEH.

BTW, more pass attempts usually means more sacks.

Clemson has a good team. No one is denying that. You simply cannot make a substantive case for Clemson having better players at the skill positions with the exception of Etienne.
