probably because at the time it wasnt in his(Yeski) best interests and now it is? Or maybe he wasn't 1st choice with Wes here? 1000 possible reasons. Im happy we pissed off aggie. To me, thats all that matters. They wouldn't be crying if he wasn't good

Not sure why you are getting downvoted into oblivion. It's a legitimate question. I doubt the answer is anything sinister. If it was, Yeskie wouldn't be rejoining Johnson now. I think Yeskie will do a great job and I'm happy to have him here.

Wes Johnson was offered the job before Kelly but didn’t come. It was CLEAR that’s who Jay Johnson originally wanted and it wasn’t Yeskie. Wes was better than both. He had to go to plan B because Yeskie was already a done deal with Aggie. Schloss is an excellent pitching coach. So hopefully, he picked up on some things from him while there.

Schloss was hired by Aggie before JJ at LSU, that also gave him a time advantage of who he wanted to bring in as pitching coach. It is, what it is, now we have Yeskie at an even better point in time because he has 2 years of seeing the SEC up close. If Yeskie does have any future plans of being a HC, he has now put himself in the most fertile ground in college baseball, which is far and away- LSU!
