It was reported we leave the court after we warm up and we don’t gone back until it’s time to play.

KM said they normally leave the court at the 12 minute mark for last time game prep, after warmups, and as a matter of continuity, it happened yesterday. She had no idea the National Anthem was being played at that time. Was not intentional.

LSU has been doing this for the past 3 years with Kim. Actually Football & Mens Hoops do the same thing...

Someone talked about it on the radio this morning, the order or timing that they do the anthem for basketball is weird. It's not right before tipoff like you would expect. It's like 10 minutes prior.

Watch the post game presser. She's asked about it at the 13:20 mark.

Perhaps the scheduling of the anthem should be changed to after both teams are on the court just before tip off. Then, everyone can be happy happy and find something else to complain about.

I'm not anti-anthem, but, I really don't understand playing the National anthem at sporting events that are not international competitions.

LSU had the court pregame first, then they left because Iowa had the court. Then the Anthem. No intent behind it whatsoever. Let it go.
