That and we lost to 2 of the worst teams on our schedule, our DC has let our top players from last season (Stingley, Stevens, others) regress, people are out of position, poor tackling, the run defense is virtually nonexistent and our defense as a unit has not been very good, consistently. Our DC makes no adjustments and he's paid a ton to have an LSU defense.

Great coaches use their players talents and capitalize on it, it's not the other way around. Use the talents of the players you have, at this point the attrition excuse is not an excuse.

Ika isn’t that big of a deal he was out of place in a 4-3 and we all wish him well. Sage Ryan would be a dagger in the heart since they would also have our 2nd best safety in Kaine Williams. We have to keep Sage.

Did A1 and UGA melt this hard when A Gilbert spurned both of them for a LSU out of the blue??

Those schools had the #1 and #2 recruiting classes without him. So is LSU going to have the #1 or #2 recruiting class without Ryan (or even with him)? These situations aren’t comparable.

LSU is already behind the 8-ball because with the opt outs and transfers. There’s no way we can get back to 80 scholarship players in the next two years. They absolutely cannot lose out on elite Louisiana players and offer lesser ones and expect to compete with those schools.

I honestly believe the majority of LSU fans look forward to getting upset, bitching and going full Melt.

It's fricking embarrassing. Hopefully they find another team soon

Lol Jesus

Well, would they be #1 or # 2 with him?

No, and that’s the point. There’s already a talent gap, and we have fewer scholarship players. The gap will only increase if LSU loses recruits like Sage to Bama.

Agreed. Our D is stellar. We don’t need S. Carry on.

We lost to Troy a few seasons ago.
Didn't we set a record last season for beating more top ten teams than any other team in history.
How many on that team were 4 and 5 star recruits?

I guess the Covid has affected Orgeron. He can no longer coach.

We lost the #1 safety recruit in the country out of our own backyard.

Players are dropping like flies.

The defense is the worst we've had since the early '90s.

O is banging strange instead of coaching the team.

Just off the top of my head.

3 of the top in state kids will likely sign elsewhere (Bama and Georgia) and a few of the big names everyone counted on a few months ago will also sign elsewhere. A year after winning a championship. Then add all the attrition on the current team, scholarship reductions, coaching fiascos, and just being in a shitty mood because of 2020 and being 2-2.

That’s why dude.
