Is it possible that temperature was a factor in their decision? We can complain about the day games in September… Maybe someone said they don't want to play at 5 PM in June

Because ESPN and NCAA are too stupid to realize they got it backwards with the time zones.

Do you not realize every major game is 8pm or later in the eastern time zone?

But we’re in the Central, also known as God’s time zone, so who gives a shite about eastern.

Specific to this thread though, what does eastern time matter when we’re discussing two teams on the west coast starting 3 hours before us?

Maybe ESPN and NCAA got together and found out it might rain somewhere on earth between 10:00am and 5:00 pm?

They want it on nationally. It’s a regional final game 7. Happens one time a year. Deal with it dude

Because ESPN pays a lot of money for the NCAA tournament and they want ss many hours of programming as possible on their two main platforms.
