how much do you get paid for doing his pr?

If SW would have kept WW, ncaa would have most likely hit LSU with lack of institutional control combining football infractions with bb. It would have been severe. Cut your losses and move on. With that being said, I would love WW back now.

Not only the NCAA make it necessary for WW to react, but Dick Vital was bashing LSU and Will Wade every chance he could on TV when calling men’s basketball games. But Kanas, Kentucky and Duke were doing the same Sh?t he accused LSU and Wade of doing.

There are only two of his teams under his watch that matter on a national scale.
He COMPLETELY OBLITERATED our men's basketball program because he has no spine, and although I'm still FIRMLY team BK and do believe he'll win more than one title if he stays ten years, one could argue he's underperformed his contract to date.
Just yesterday, Michigan sent the NCAA a 130 page response basically telling them to FLUCK OFF with their NOA (regarding the Connor Stalion situation among other allegations), we ain't negotiating shite. Oh, if only Scott could learn how to do that.
Statistically, NO ONE cares about any of our other programs on a national scale. I know a lot of you on here REFUSE to acknowledge this reality, but it's still true.

The NCAA made it impossible to keep Will Wade, every school in that situation would’ve done the same thing
Again, no they would not have.
What did the big bad NCAA do to Wade?

And why did he give a coach a 7 year contract after firing the coach and losing the entire team?
We could have hired a 2-4 year coach to get these same results. It was stupid to give that contract to a coach like this.

How did the NCAA make it impossible?
NCAA had decided to combine the football (Vadal Alexander) and basketball (Wade's payment of players when it was not legal) violations to create an overall lack of institutional control.
Granted this was just as the NIL era was dawning but the NCAA could have hit the football program with a couple of years post season ban a bunch of scholarship reductions (See Bama, USC, Miami, Penn State types).
To save the football program which had just won a Natty and was the cash cow, he had to get rid of Wade.
If we defied the NCAA and kept Wade then the NCAA would have hit us where it hurt in the football program. Google it up.
Also without Wade doing his thing....the football situation could have been handled differently.
If the football situation with Vadal did not arise and the football program was squeaky clean, we could have retained Wade and fought the NCAA.
By the way the Vadal / Funes thing had nothing to do with LSU or recruiting violations...if was a money laundering case outside of LSU.

because these people have to blame anybody and everybody. They act like we had a shot at landing a bigtime coach with all this going on. Then, they want him fired after 2 years. You are dealing with overly emotional juvenile brains in grown men. This is a tough situation, and time will cure it. LSU has had trouble getting elite coaches in men's basketball with no scandals going on, let alone a big one. Can they get an elite coach? Sure, but they will have to open up the checkbook and then also a huge guarantee. I'm not sure they are willing to do that. Kim fell into our lap, thank god, and we do have some great coaches.

You want WW back? Get the Governor to believe WW should be rehired. Critics be damned!

Wade is performing well at his 4th school and will be a major conference coach again soon.
I keep asking but never get a reply. If he is so damn good, how did he not get scooped up during the off season this past year?
Maybe there are bozos on here that like MM, I don't know. I'm not one of them. I am just trying to understand why a future hall of fame coach hasn't already been scooped up by a bigtime, or even decent sized program.

On June 22, 2023, Wade was suspended for the first 10 games of the 2023–24 season and was given a 2-year show-cause penalty for his recruiting and bribery allegations.[
The show cause ends this summer. Hope that answers your question.

So we can eliminate the 1st and 4th irrational reasons. That leaves 2 decisions that appear to have been less than good decisions. I don’t know how many of ranters have the responsibility of hiring employees. But all of them can tell you that hiring someone is a lot like taking a swing at what you believe is going to be a sweet pitch. Just like baseball you don’t always hit a home run. And some of us assume that the only role of an AD is to hire and fire coaches. The LSU Athletic Department is a huge corporation. If the number of butts in seats and investors (boosters) diminish. The corporation starts to make changes. But SW is very well respected and admired in the athletic business. Firing SW at this time would probably be a huge mistake

because they have to blame someone other than the man actually responsible, Will Wade, for the firing of Will Wade. If they can blame someone else, they can rationalize that what wade did wasn't that big of a deal.
