Why are more and more people starting to defend Miles?

Look at our record against SEC teams the past 2 years. Look at the lack of emotion our team plays with. Look at the penalties that happen EVERY game. Folks-- this is coaching. It is very simple. I will ALWAYS support the LSU Tigers but can not and should not support Miles.

since he's not getting canned this year, many of us are merely supporting him since he's still the coach and want to see LSU win its last two and do well next year.
Support doesn't always mean defend.
Support doesn't always mean defend.

We've got to move on...he's not getting fired this year. The only thing we can do is support our team...and Miles is apart of that.

Those who like Miles as a person, or think results are all that matter, are willing to call Ole Miss a one-time "mistake" and accept his apology, believe he will "fix" it, etc.
They are closing their eyes to the downward trend that Ole Miss clearly exposed in performance.

I support him if "doing well" means winning the west. If it means a year like this year, I'd prefer we just lose so we can can his candy arse.

Because he's the coach, he's going to be here next year, and finally four days after the clusterfrick that was...the knee jerk reactions are slowing down. You can't be miserable all the time.

The rant will be marching by Friday.

I think a lot of fans of Les Miles just laid low for a few days and are now back since emotions have cooled a bit.

I was ready to let it go, then I saw the replay yesterday and got pissed off all over again.

seldom, if ever, has this shown to be the right position to take...

quote:Agree 100%. Will always support the Tigers. I just feel like Miles is "getting off easy". I am basing this off performance over the last 2 years. Saturday was just icing on the cake.
The only thing we can do is support our team

Look how every week Miles says "we have to fix that" but NEVER does..... we did not improve any from game one to now!

Look how many of these dumb a-holes bitch about the 2007 National Title and how "lucky" we were ? What other fan base has dumbasses knocking their own title ? You think that BCS trophy has on it "but they lost to Kentucky and Arkansas". Georgia,Southern Cal and Oklahoma all thought they should have had our spot with two losses, themselves. You think as many of their fans would have tried to cheapen their title ?

You think he's getting off easy? I lost as much faith as anybody on Sat, and I don't think he got off easy.

You really think so? Have you seen the national coverage? What else could be done in your eyes so Miles doesn't get off easy?

The ever growing loud portion of our fan base that has never like him and whips out "Tennessee 2005" faster than Marshall Dillon pulled out his revolver won't be satisfied until Miles' LSU career ends the same way Jim Pittman's did at TCU.
