Why are media talking heads so butthurt

Watching Speak for Yourself on FS1 right now and Emmanuel Acho going in on Brian Kelly saying that ND has more talent than LSU and plays in bigger primetime games than LSU and pretty much trashing Kelly over the move. While I love watching the media melt, did BK sleep with their wives or something? Or does the media just like sucking off ND that much?

Most of the sports media are from the Midwest or east coast. So yeah they have bias for ND and against LSU

Look it doesn't matter what the media says, Brian Kelly despite their protestations IS the head football coach now at LSU and he left that position at Notre Dame to do so. Game over.

I've seen some positive about the hire, some negative. These debate shows need topics where people take different sides of the argument.
Stephen A Smith says he loves the hire and LSU is a better job. His debate partner Dan Orlovsky says ND is the better job and lambasts the hire
Shannon Sharpe says he understands why Kelly went because LSU can get a different kind of athlete, Skip Bayless says ND is the gold standard of CFP, yadda yadda
The sooner you guys understand these guys are paid to read off a script and that debates need at least two sides to sell conflict, the sooner you guys will stop caring so much or taking offense to what they say. You can't just have a panel where everyone agrees with each other and has the same takes, that doesn't draw as many eyes or garner many clicks.

Emmanuel Acho is just 1 guy. And I’m pretty sure Marcellus Wiley had the complete opposite take. And let’s not act like a coach leaving a school—any school—that still has a chance to make the CFP is not a legit criticism. We’d be fricking pissed if it were us.

Everyone and when I say everyone I mean everyone has known that if LSU ever got a coach the caliber of Saban again the football world would be turned on its head. And now they have him and everyone’s freaking out.

All you need to know is a coach that actually coaches big-time College football left his team with a great chance of making the playoffs,Has made a national championship game, and been in the playoffs twice in the last 10 years left his team for a Independence bowl team. That should show you what a big-time college football coaches think of this job. Notre Dame is only bigger by recognition

The talking heads don't have opinions. They have producers telling them the stance to take and get them to talk about it with someone they've told to have the opposite stance. It's theater. Who cares what any of them say?

Because our AD had the AUDACITY to snipe Ole Notre Dame's head coach to their utter disbelief. They were probably even more upset that it was done before breakfast.
