Why are LSU baseball pants tearing so easily?

I'm sure it's probably not a new phenomenon, but for whatever reason I'm just now noticing it happen every single game this year after an LSU player slides and they come up with a pant hole in the knee or butt cheek. This even happened yesterday in the Lady Tigers softball game and got me thinking ok, this is getting ridiculous. Men's and women's now.
New uniform manufacturer? Are they just re-wearing ripped uniforms and I'm not noticing the hole until they are wiping the dirt off the area?
I mean, it's to the point that I'm questioning if there's gravel in the dirt, at all parks.

In high school we played legion ball at Alex Box...that infield dirt (clay) was hard AF and we always ripped our pants. I just thought maybe it was July and the baseball team wasn't playing on it anymore and the sun just baked the clay

They switched from polyester to cotton bc the cotton breathes better.

I think we have different issues.
idk if fanatic actually makes the uniforms for college but our pants aren’t see through so maybe not
