Tuesday, an LSU fan using the handle 'dreaux' took to TigerDroppings.com to capture the sentiment of a healthy chunk of LSU's fan base, circa late August 2011. "JL with a more experienced o-line and much better backs then he had in 08 PLUS a game plan to utilize his strengths = DOMINATION!!!" the fan wrote. "I think he is ready!"

According alot of the oregon players, they say we could be BETTER this year on offense.... its not like the recievers that are replacing Jeff Meahl and DJ Davis suck, we had the top reciever recruiting class this past year,, #1 jc reciever Rashaugn Vaughn, the fastest kid in high school last year Tacoi Summer who ran a 4.29 40 , Devon Blackman.. so for u to say we will be worse on offense then last year IMO is misguided, remember we still have Darron Thomas, lamicheal james, kenjon barner, top 5 tight end david Paulson, josh huff, incoming freshman phenom Deanthony thomas who was a 5 star at 5 different positions..the list goes on....

They fail to realize that LSU has always had struggles containing mobile QBs.

Yeah I mean I think it will be a close game and the Oregon offense vs. LSU Defense will probably define the outcome of the game. We'll probably score no more than 28-35 so we'll have to keep you guys to a much lower than normal performance to win.

I just don't get why people think that a team that was in the NC game last year is screwed because they lost a lot of starters. The backfield is really dangerous. If the offensive line doesn't get dominated then it could get ugly for LSU.

Why? Have you paid attention to LSU under Miles when they have more than a week to prepare for a game? Especially in a dome environment? We destroy people.Let off the gas against UNC because they were missing practically their whole team.

I think we win by ten. Are we really three point dogs right now?

Some act as if Oregon shouldn't be on the same field as LSU. They are just stupid. I hate playing teams that have a chip on their shoulder. I am sure Oregon does after losing to Auburn and now facing another SEC team.

I think we will win but I am still very nervous about this game.

It is that time of year. I don't insist that YOU share it. Nor, do I care if you GET IT.

Now is the time that hope springs eternal.

Its just fun

This is not an easy game. And in light of current events, I think we drop this game by a touchdown. Sad that I have to admit this.

I can take a loss with the best of them. So I don't need to preemptively predict a loss in order to deal with it, if it happens, like so many here do.

That being said, LSU is about to whip that Oregon arse!
