What a great time this would be for Woody to decide that a-hole isn’t essential and send him out the door. Or assign him to paint stripes on the parking lots

Any job at LSU would be too good for Bahnsen.

Because he got burned on drug tests at least 3 times. Probably would've failed again and been suspended at least 6 games maybe more.
That is the reason to come back. Why field a question from a GM or NFL Coach, "Hey I noticed you were missing from a few games, why?"
Well, if he would have come back, and not do what you mention in your second sentence, then he could have played every game, been more dominant at a prized position "Left OT", and gone in 1st or 2nd round.
So, prolly failed again is bullshite thinking. If he can't keep clean then he will not make it period.
I'm just saying to come back and play every game, and being dominant would have made his stock much higher

Grammar is not too important to you.

The NFL does not give a frick if he smokes weed. Nor does most of America.
That may be so, but what it reveals IMHO is still an issue that might give organizations pause.
That issue being - there is a rule that whether one thinks it is fair or not, is clear. And Charles still reportedly broke it multiple times.

"too important to him"
This will work out fine for him because "weed" is no longer on the prohibited list in the nfl.
"Weed" is good. If you don't like weed, something is wrong with you. Not the other way around

I wish you all would stay out of the players' personal lives. No one knows what you all do.

Saints traded away all their picks so they couldn’t draft him

He wanted to help break the record for most players drafted

If his inability to put down the weed caused him to leave before his game was ready, then his addiction/inability to put down weed has cost him a tremendous amount of money.
Whether you think that’s right or fair is immaterial. The facts are the facts. If he left because he’d rather be free to smoke weed than stay for a year and bump his draft stock (and ultimately, his value), then that says everything about who he is and a lot about weed.
And posters trying to rationalize such a decision by calling out those who see weed for what it supposedly did to this young man are saying a lot about themselves as well.

He really should have stayed but needs the money to pay for weed.

It's time for Louisiana to legalize weed to help with this major upcoming budget deficit.

Please explain. Is it because they try to get these guys to stay away from weed. What do you want? Zero discipline? Zero accountability?
Sincere question. What do y'all want?

I think his decision was based on wanting to play football at the highest level. If he can play he'll be fine. If he can't then one more year in college won't change a that.
Personally I think he makes an nfl roster. Guys that big, strong and athletic don't grow on trees

That’s a pretty easy fix though assuming it’s just weed.

what I would like to know is how the names of who gets tested comes to pass , who determines whether a player is tested or not , how often a player is tested , who determines whether the info becomes public , just in fact the whole piss test procedure.
